The new year is upon us, and it's time to make sure you have everything in order before your our first event of the year at Winter Open at Clear Lake January 8-10, 2026. But before that, you need to make sure you have all your ducks in a row!
Through our partnership with BASS we will once again be awarding Pro's and AAA's who support WON BASS in the 2026 season the opportunity to qualify for the 2027 B.A.S.S Nation Championship. WON BASS will be awarding 6 Pro's and 6 AAA's guaranteed entries if qualified, to the "FREE ENTRY" B.A.S.S. National Championship in 2027, for a chance at making the Bassmaster Classic.
Our TOP 5 Angers of the Year on both sides after 5 events, including the U.S. Open will receive an invite if all qualifications are met. The highest qualifying Pro and AAA at the 2026 U.S. Open if qualified, will also earn a birth to the 2027 B.A.S.S. Nation Championship.
But that's not all. Bassmaster plans to host a B.A.S.S. Nation Regional tournament in the West (at Clear Lake) in early 2027. This regional event will qualify its top 10 Pros and AAAs for the 2027 BN Championship.
WON Bass has been given the ability to award 20 guaranteed entry spots into this 2027 BN Regional event:
The Top 5 Pros and AAAs from each of our four 2026 regional events (Winter Open, Shasta Open, Clear Lake Open, Havasu Open) will earn a guaranteed entry spot into that regional tournament for a chance to advance to the Championship and potentially the Bassmaster Classic.
Here is a step by step process to get yourself dialed in:
STEP 1 - Be a current member of B.A.S.S. for 2025. If you are not a current B.A.S.S. member, click here to renew your membership.
STEP 2 - Once you have received or renewed your B.A.S.S. membership, you will need to receive and know your B.A.S.S. membership ID #.
STEP 3 - You MUST contact your home state president to complete your B.A.S.S. Nation Membership. Please look for your State President listed below and reach out to them with the email provided. Let them know your B.A.S.S. ID# and that you wish to participate in the 2025 WON BASS opportunity. Pay your fees and you are good to go once you have received confirmation from your State President.
